Working with Partners to Transform the Fintech Ecosystem
Part of what first attracted me to Ocrolus was the opportunity to work for a company that is making financial services fairer, more accessible, and more transparent. In addition, I figured that managing partnerships for Ocrolus would give me the opportunity to utilize many of the skills I had learned as a venture capital investor at Argo and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and as an institutional investment analyst. That was over two years ago. Today, I’m happy to report that new partnerships are helping drive growth at Ocrolus, and I’m excited to be part of a fintech infrastructure company that uses…

What is the Network Effect of Data? (And Why You Should Be a Part of It)
Generating and using rich data to drive business performance is now a central objective of so many companies. However, while it comes with its challenges, it may not be enough on its own. According to Gartner, external data sharing generates “three times more measurable economic benefit” than an organization relying only on its own network data. To maximize outcomes, organizations must develop a system of gathering, verifying, and interpreting data efficiently, while also incorporating a streamlined sharing method. For this reason, organizations are increasingly looking to integrate a data network effect into their operational procedure. The network effect of data…
Celebrating the Remarkable Women of Ocrolus
There is a considerable gender gap in the fintech industry as women represent only 30% of the workforce, and less than 12% are leaders. At Ocrolus, we have our sights on surpassing the status quo and achieving a 35% female workforce because we know that our culture and business will benefit from more women’s perspectives. We are also making positive strides within our team to support women and enable a positive and inclusive culture. We’re proud that our team has fostered a close-knit community fiercely working together to change the industry for good. Ocrolus is also proud to partner with…
2021 Year in Review
2021 was a huge year for Ocrolus. Not only did we raise $80 million in our Series C funding, but we also nearly doubled our workforce, adding over 300 new faces to the Ocrolus team. On the technical side, in the last year alone, we’ve processed nearly 100 million document pages and flagged over 300,000 of them for potential fraud. Ocrolus has become one of the best automation solutions in the industry, offering individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including banking, mortgage, and fintech, the ability to fully-automate their loan processing workflows. As we look ahead to 2022, we are…
Building Partnerships: Welcome Arjun Iyer
In the past year, Ocrolus has announced several significant partnerships (learn about Plaid and Blend), but there are many more opportunities to bring best of show solutions to market via partnerships. We strongly believe that one of the keys toward future growth will be expanding and developing new partnerships across the financial industry. To lead this effort, we’re excited to welcome Arjun Iyer as our Senior Vice President of Business Development. While Arjun, a self-proclaimed “people person,” excels with sales and relationship building, he credits these skills to having worked through almost every major business function in his career. After…
