2021 has been an incredible year for Ocrolus. Not just in terms of the number of documents processed, millions of hours of data entry saved, and new customers introduced, but we also increased our workforce by almost 50%.
While Ocrolus has experienced rapid growth since its founding in 2014, we’ve always put tremendous focus on maintaining company culture and camaraderie along the way. Great businesses start with great leaders, and we’re thankful to have some of the best. Our co-founder and CEO, Sam Bobley has led by example and fostered an environment that promotes hard work, collaboration, and dedication. Best of all, Sam recognizes the importance of each and every team member in contributing to making Ocrolus an outstanding place to work. He even goes so far as to organize a one-on-one meeting with every new hire, cementing his approachability and willingness to connect and hear from everyone. It’s this attitude that has contributed to Sam being voted to the Best Company CEO list, an honor that highlights just how much he has positively shaped Ocrolus.
We’ve also been recognized on Business Insider’s list for Best Company Culture! Although this comes as no surprise to Ocrolus team members, it’s gratifying to acknowledge the hard work of every person who helps keep Ocrolus running smoothly. Of course, when you have one of the best CEOs, it’s easy for a positive culture to not only develop but flourish.
Continuing the momentum, it’s an honor to be acknowledged as one of Built In’s Best Large Companies to Work For in NYC. While Ocrolus has been growing for almost eight years to over 1,000 team members, there is still very much a start-up mindset, and it’s hard to believe we’re already being recognized as a large organization! Nevertheless, we’re thrilled to be building our reputation as a company where people are happy to come to work every day.
