We’re so proud to have wrapped up the first quarter of 2023 with a fantastic team of individuals who brought their A-game to the table daily. With their unwavering commitment, we accomplished major milestones, including launching new capabilities, expanding our market share, closing great deals empowering lenders nationwide to make more accurate decisions with Ocrolus. And the best part? We enjoyed every step of the journey together!
As we dive into 2023, our Social Committee is working to foster greater involvement and inclusivity among our teams and departments. We recognize the importance of getting things done but want to ensure everyone is having fun at Ocrolus!

At Ocrolus, we’re not just about business but also about giving back to our community. During National Volunteer Month in April, we took the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Our team volunteered at a local soup kitchen, serving meals and spreading kindness to needy people. It was a heartwarming experience, and we’re proud of our team for giving back.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
March was a month of celebrating the incredible women who have impacted our company and beyond. To commemorate Women’s History Month, we organized a powerful fireside panel with some of our remarkable female leaders – Christina Favilla (Board Member), Deepti Dhingra (VP of People), Jackie Siqueiros (Chief People Office), and Nicole Newlin (SVP of Solutions). These inspiring women shared their insights and perspectives on some of the most pressing topics for women in business, from breaking barriers to finding work-life balance. We were honored to hear their stories and learn from their experiences.
To continue celebrating the month of March, we catered our monthly Ocro-Dinner at our Ocrolus East office in India from a women-owned local restaurant.
In April, we invited Brian Tippens, SVP and Chief Social Impact Officer at Cisco, to share valuable insights into how leaders can define and hone their commitment to creating an inclusive culture during an Executive DEI Fireside Chat.
From a cultural lens, the quarter was filled with exciting events and activities that brought the Ocrolus team together across the globe. We kicked off the quarter with a three-day team bonding trip to the beautiful beach town of Goa, followed by our monthly happy hours back in NYC, virtual Crochet Amirugumi workshops, and a hybrid Escape Room adventure at our NYC office. We also celebrated the colorful Holi festival at our Ocrolus East office.
We held the much-awaited Ocrolus Got Talent event, where the finalists showcased their talents in an exciting face-off where Vaibhav Dubey (Senior Software Engineer) left as our winner!
Another great highlight of our CEO Sam Bobley, CFO Conor O’Donoghue, and VP of Product Eric Etu all traveled to India to meet with our talented teams, emphasizing the importance of building and nurturing relationships across the globe.
And last but not least, we enjoyed the benefits of Ocrolus Appreciation Day, our company holiday, on the last Friday of every month, providing us with 12 extra days of PTO per year!
