Paul is a full-stack engineer with a knack for solving problems with computational algorithms and machine learning. His past positions range from a researcher to an engineer at a publicly traded company to a startup CTO. Paul enjoys building clever software and working with innovative engineering teams, as well as playing ping pong and exploring the local food scene.
Rohan is a Director of Ocrolus East Operations. From starting as a Scientist at Pfizer to running successful Healthcare and Technology companies, Rohan has gained vast experience in setting up and scaling teams and implementing business operations. Rohan graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a dual Masters in BioMedical Engineering and Applied Math & Statistics. Outside of work, Rohan is an extremely passionate poker player & spends his weekends either playing online poker tournaments or sleeping.
Jeton is a Senior Engineer at Ocrolus, where he channels his skills to make Ocrolus AI even smarter. He earned his master’s from Rochester Institute of Technology in Computer Science, with a minor in Philosophy. He has worked in various fields, including pharmaceuticals, EHR/EMR, cloud storage, and media streaming. Outside of the office, he likes to watch as many movies as he can, explore the excellent eateries NYC has to offer and catch reruns of The Big Bang Theory.
Kevin Bailey is Director of Growth at Ocrolus, where he executes the company’s vision for product and market expansion and spearheads overall revenue growth. Before joining Ocrolus, Kevin privately advised fintech companies and investors, and earlier he drove enterprise sales, capital markets, and regulatory initiatives at CommonBond, a leading fintech lender in New York. For seven years, Kevin was Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Treasury Department and served in the White House in the Office of the Vice President. Kevin began his career in a number of commercial roles with BP Global Oil Trading. Kevin is a graduate of Rice University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Rich comes to Ocrolus with a breadth of software testing experience and unparalleled attention to detail. He formerly worked as a Mainframe Programmer & Tester at IBM in North Carolina, an Imaging Software Performance Tester at Xerox, and a Quality Assurance Engineer/Technical Writer at Health Information Technologies. Rich graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Technical Communications and a minor in Mathematics.
Trained to be an entrepreneur since childhood, Sam began building Ocrolus in his parents’ kitchen immediately upon graduating from the University of South Carolina. Under Sam’s leadership, the Company has grown into an international organization, analyzing millions of data points every day for hundreds of customers. Along the way, Sam authored a patent application and led fundraising efforts at every level- from friends and family to angel investor groups to institutional investors. Outside of the office, Sam is known for his ball handling skills on the basketball court and wicked forehand on the ping pong table.
Estevan is an Account Executive at Ocrolus, where he puts his curiosity and wits to use by helping potential customers understand disruptive automation technology. Originally from Tampa, Florida and a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Estevan is now living the dream in New York City. After work you can find Estevan shooting pool, participating in a recreational sports league, or partially completing today’s crossword puzzle. Estevan is an advocate for alliteration.
Vik is Ocrolus’ data driven and process oriented Chief Operations Officer. Previously, Vik spent time working with over 25 different companies in operational, strategic and financial capacities to solve a host of issues. Most recently, he worked at Handy and McKinsey, after earning an MBA from the University of Chicago. In his spare time, Vik enjoys running with his wife, or after his 2 year old little daughter. He’s also an avid Buffalo Bills fan, a Brooklyn pizza critic, and a chicken wing pundit.
A co-founder of Ocrolus, John G. is a futurist and a creative problem-solver. From a young age he has been passionate about entrepreneurship and the marketing of technology. John graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Engineering. Initially working out of Sam’s kitchen, John began building Ocrolus along with Sam in 2014. In his spare time, John enjoys architecture and interior design, tending to his garden, and scheming up plots to take over the world with disruptive technology.
Sheldon is a data junkie who works closely with several teams at Ocrolus. He specializes in data visualization, providing quantitative and qualitative insights through dashboards designed for internal users and customers. Sheldon holds an M.S. in Statistics from Temple University and has a passion for science fiction movies.
As Office Manager, John H. sits at the center of Ocrolus’ company culture. He keeps everyone on their toes with creative team events, and ensures that the office is always equipped with snacks, coffee, a variety of beverages, and the trendiest playlists. John studied Media & Communications at SUNY Old Westbury. Outside of work, he is a blogger, radio host and all around music nerd, as well as a New York Jets fan and horror movie enthusiast.
Born in New York City, John L. spent his childhood eating 25 cent hot dogs, biking along the West Side Highway, and navigating the subways. After a four-year hiatus at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, and two more years working at a middle market advisory firm in Washington D.C., John is back in NYC but has slowed down on his old hot dog habits. If you are looking for a new sports podcast, a nice public golf course, or a place to lift some weights, John is your man.
Cory is a Customer Success Manager at Ocrolus, focused on ensuring customers have all the resources they need to get the most out of Ocrolus solutions. Prior to joining Ocrolus, Cory worked primarily in the SaaS sector supporting customers in the financial services industry. As a graduate of the International Business program at Northeastern University (Boston) and Universidad Pontificia Comillas – ICADE (Madrid), Cory is bilingual in Spanish and passionate about cross-cultural awareness.
Victoria is on a mission to leverage Ocrolus technology to foster transparency and accountability between institutions and stakeholders. Having served as Ocrolus Co-Founder and President through 2018, she now serves as Co-Founder and Special Advisor. Victoria previously co-founded PhoneCharge Inc., a forerunner in electronic payment services which was processing over $2B when Checkfree acquired it. While Victoria continues to champion Government outreach, she has helped shepherd the Company’s growth in both the public and private sectors since its formation. Away from the office, Victoria does her best to stay engaged on the civic and cultural front, and when the calendar allows, her favorite way to unwind is sharing ideas and adventures with her college-age children.
Saager holds a Master’s in Information Systems and has over a decade of experience building, and supporting scalable systems including mortgage underwriting platforms, real-time operations tracking dashboards as well as infrastructure automation and monitoring tool-chains. In past lives, he has built systems for multinational banks, adtech firms and media houses. When he’s not busy enhancing the systems at Ocrolus, Saager is out engaging with the local tech community to make building software better for all.
Julian is Director of Finance & Operations at Ocrolus. After earning his masters from the University of Michigan, Julian worked at Ernst & Young, most recently serving in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group. There he provided guidance on over 30 transactions assisting both strategic and financial buyers on the buy-side and sell-side. At EY, Julian advised on notable deals including Symantec’s sale of its website security business and Discovery Channel’s acquisition of Scripps Networks. When Julian isn’t working, you can find him travelling with his Kindle in hand and/or on his endless pursuit to experience the world’s best croquette.
Vivek leads the Product Team at Ocrolus. He is passionate about making our diverse products absolute “must-haves” for our customers. In 2017, he sold Scout Finance, a mobile-first equities platform that he created and led as Co-founder and CEO. Previously, Vivek was the former Global Head of Mobile at Thomson Reuters, in addition to holding leadership roles in product management at Nokia. He got his start in finance and tech policy at Goldman Sachs and the White House. Vivek has a degree in engineering from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard. When he’s not at work, he’s usually at a chess tournament or playing video games with his sons.
As Director of Customer Success, Elizabeth plays a hands-on role to ensure that customers are effectively using the Company’s products. Elizabeth has worked exclusively in the SaaS space since graduating from Loyola University (MD) and became one of Ocrolus’ earliest team members shortly after the Company launched in 2014. Outside of the office, Elizabeth serves on the board for her alma mater’s alumni chapter and volunteers for a national, not-for-profit organization.
Sid is a Full Stack Engineer at Ocrolus. A recent college grad from Syracuse University, Sid was nominated by faculty as the best computer scientist in his graduating class. Sid is passionate about using AI and machine learning to automate financial operations. Forever an entrepreneur, Sid is a Computer Vision and Self Driving Car Engineer in the making.
Zoheb is an experienced software architect and engineering leader with over a decade of experience in building scalable SaaS platforms and web applications. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Cornell University, and prior to Ocrolus held technical leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Vetr, a fintech startup. In his leisure time, Zoheb loves to travel, having visited over 50 countries. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two kids.
Nikhil is a Director at Ocrolus East, based in India. A serial entrepreneur, Nikhil sold his peer-to-peer lending company, InstaPaisa, to InCred Finance in 2015, and took on the role of CEO, Consumer for InCred Finance. Prior to this, Nikhil was a Venture Director with Rocket Internet, India, where he incubated several consumer Internet startups. Nikhil spent the previous 10 years in Chicago with Bain & Company and in Silicon Valley as a Product Manager/Lead Engineer. Nikhil has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a B.Tech from Delhi College of Engineering.
Andrew is the Director of Operations at Ocrolus. A product of Boston University, Andrew joined the company back in 2014 and has worked on managing the day-to-day operations of the business ever since. When he’s not working, he is either spending time with his wife or being disappointed by his favorite sports teams.
Adam is the longest serving member of the Ocrolus technical team. He graduated at the top of his class at Hofstra University with a B.A. in Film Studies and Production, and a B.S. in Computer Science with Honors. A romantic, Adam has also published a paper on the assassination of William McKinley and written a musical about the first half of the Cold War.
Having lived in Shanghai, Liverpool, and London, Wendy is now enjoying life in New York as a member of the Data team at Ocrolus. She fell in love with the Big Apple while at Columbia University, where she earned an M.S. in Applied Statistics. Although she’s here to stay, Wendy still travels frequently and spends her free time playing the piano and enjoying delicious food.
Thomas is a full-time UI engineer who specializes in creating dynamic and beautiful web pages. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science from National University. Thomas has been working professionally as a software engineer for nearly 5 years and has been enjoying every minute of it. He lives in New Jersey with his dog, Nikki_thecorgi and his wonderful wife Jenny.
Brought up in Eastern Europe, Dzmitry studied management and finance and spent 5 years auditing financial statements with government agencies and international accounting firms (E&Y, PwC) before diving into fintech in the City of his Dreams. Aside from making sure that data is 99+% accurate, Dzmitry enjoys spending time with his family exploring gastronomic, cultural and tourist offerings of his new home.
